We have been so fortunate to have such an incredibly skilled and experienced group of judges to serve at our tournaments in past years. This year, Cal Mock Trial will be hosting two Intercollegiate Mock Trial Invitationals on the UC Berkeley campus:
The 4th Annual Average American Mock Trial Invitational (AAMTI)
November 4 - 5, 2017
The 2nd atypiCAL Invitational
January 27 - 28, 2018
Teams from across the country will be attending to compete at these tournaments. We are currently looking for attorneys and law students to serve as judges during the rounds.
There will be four opportunities to judge during the tournament weekends - a morning round and an afternoon round on Saturday, and a morning round and an afternoon round on Sunday. Breakfast and coffee will be provided for morning judges, and lunch and refreshments will be available for the afternoon judges. Please feel free to judge as many rounds as your schedule allows!
Sign-ups for judging are currently open, and can be completed using the form on the right. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us a message at [email protected].
We hope you can make it! These events would not be possible without your help, hard work, and dedication!
Once again, thank you for serving as a judge. These events would not be possible without you.
There is no expectation or requirement for judges to prepare in any manner prior to the tournament. There will be a judges' orientation before every round, and our tournament staff will be available to answer any questions that you may have.
For anyone who is interested in familiarizing themselves with case materials before the event, we have provided the following for your reference:
