National Championships (4/17 - 4/19)
SECOND IN THE NATION! The California Golden Bears take 2nd Place at the 31st Annual National Championship Tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio! CMT ended the season with a final record of 9-2-1, one of the best records in program history. In addition, the Bears earned THREE All-American Awards:

Anoka ORCS (3/13 - 3/15)
TWO GOOD TO BE TRUE! After a great weekend of competition, California Mock Trial qualified TWO teams to the American Mock Trial Association's National Championship Tournament in April! Next up: Cincinnati, Ohio! In addition, the Golden Bears swept in the individual category, taking home a total of 6 awards:

Fresno Regionals (2/14 - 2/15)
Stand and (D)eliver. This President's Day weekend, CMT took to Fresno to compete in the 2015 Northern California Regional Tournament. In an extremely competitive field, California, Berkeley D brought their A game - with a record of 7-1, Team 665 took 3rd place overall and secured a bid to the San Diego ORCS ! In addition, the Golden Bears emerged with 2 individual awards:
Avir Waxman, All-Region Witness with 18/20 Ranks; his first mock trial career award!
Ryan Cunningham, All-Region Plaintiff Attorney with 19/20 Ranks AND All-Region Defense Attorney with 18/20 Ranks; his first mock trial career awards!
Boise Regionals (2/7 - 2/8)
Triumph in Boise! This past weekend, Teams 662 and 663 took to Ada County, Idaho to compete in the 2015 Pacific Northwest Regional Tournament. Special thanks to the University of Idaho for hosting a fantastic tournament. With records of 6-2, the Golden Bears took 3rd and 4th place overall and secured two bids to the Minneapolis ORCS! In addition, CMT took home 4 individual awards:

Winston Thomas Memorial Invitational (1/24 - 1/25)
Cal Mock Trial spent the weekend at home in Berkeley, competing at our own 4th Annual Winston Thomas Memorial Invitational! Our two teams both finished with 5-3 records at our most competitive Memorial Invitational to date! Congrats to the following members who also took home 3 individual awards...

Downtown (1/24 - 1/25)
Team 662 travelled to New York, New York to compete in The 9th Annual Downtown Invitational Classic. In an extremely competitive field, CMT finished 8th place overall! Special thanks to Empire Mock Trial and NYU Mock Trial for hosting an incredibly well-run tournament. In addition, the Golden Bears took home three individual awards:

UCLASSIC (1/16 - 1/18)
We had a fantastic time this weekend competing at the UCLA Sunset Strip Invitational Competition! CMT earned an honorable mention, finishing with a tie for 10th place out of the 42 teams present! In addition, we emerged with one individual award:

CMT kicks off the spring season with a 3rd place finish at the Paradise Invitational in Santa Barbara, California! In addition, the Golden Bears dominated the individual awards:

We had a great time at UC Irvine's 8th Annual Beach Party Invitational this weekend in Newport Beach, CA. Congratulations to our very own Radhika Kannan, who was named one of the top 10 outstanding witnesses at the tournament!
Anteater Invitational (11/15 - 11/16)
