Trial by Combat
For the FIRST time in CMT history, a competitor made it to Trial by Combat! Not only that…Kaia Savage made it to SEMIFINALS and placed 4TH IN THE NATION!
We are so proud of Kaia, her second chair Jacob, and their coach Nick for this amazing result! Thank you to UCLA and Drexel for hosting such a wonderful tournament.
Washington D.C. Nationals
The bears had a blast at nationals in D.C., and finished the season with a bang! After competing against the nation’s best teams, A & B team left D.C. with some serious hardware. A team finished 6TH IN THE NATION, and B team earned an Honorable Mention!!!
CMT also has TWO new All-American attorneys…Congratulations Aidan and Kaia!!!
We’re so proud of everything the bears achieved this year, and we can’t wait for next season!!
Phoenix ORCS
Cal Mock Trial KILLED IT at ORCS, taking 1st and 3rd place, and earning TWO BIDS TO NATIONALS!!!
Not only that…but CMT was the most decorated program at the competition, with FOUR competitors earning individual All-National awards! Congratulations Charlotte, Melinda, Scott, and Kaia!
Los Angeles Regionals
CMT IS 4 FOR 4!!! The killer B’s and Gold team swept LA Regionals, with B team earning the first bid out with an undefeated record, and Gold team earning a bid to ORCS with a winning record!
Congratulations Anisha for winning an All-Regional attorney award with a perfect 20/20 ranks!
Fresno Regionals
TWO teams went to Fresno Regionals, TWO teams left with bids! Congratulations to CMT’s A and Blue teams for earning two bids to ORCS!!!
The bears didn’t stop there…congratulations to Kaia, Emma, Ruhan, and Amber for earning individual All-Regional awards!
UCLA’s UCLASSIC & UCI’s Beach Party
A and B team took on UCLASSIC in January! Both teams gave amazing performances, and came home with winning records. Congratulations to Kaia Savage for her individual attorney award, and Emma Kay for her individual witness award!
The winter break grind didn’t stop there—the bears also had a blast at the beach during UCI’s beach party! Thank you so much to our fellow UC’s for hosting wonderful tournaments this year.
UCI’s Anteater
Our beArs and Bears (A & B) absolutely CRUSHED IT at UCI’s Anteater tournament! BOTH teams went UNDEFEATED, taking 1st and 2nd place at the tournament!

Cal Mock Trial’s AAMTI
The bears gave some incredible performances in their home territory at AAMTI! Both teams finished the weekend with winning records, and one team took home the 3rd place trophy!

Stanford University’s SUMTI
Cal Mock Trial kicked off the season with a bang at SUMTI! Both teams were undefeated with perfect 8-0 records, and finished in 1st and 2nd place!
